World Dairy Expo to Offer New Attendee Services

With more than 70,000 attendees each year, World Dairy Expo continually looks for ways to improve the attendee experience. Expo is featuring new attendee services during the 2015 show, including additional transportation options, expanded ExpoTV coverage and Attendee Survey Kiosks.

For the first time, Expo will be offering a free shuttle service that will run during the show. The two, 31-passenger shuttles will begin their routes at 6:30 a.m. and conclude at 6:30 p.m. each day. Five properties have been selected for shuttling this year and will make a loop in the following order: The Graduate Madison (formerly The Campus Inn), The Edgewater, The Madison Concourse and Governor’s Club, Inn on the Park, Hilton Madison Monona Terrace and Alliant Energy Center. Each loop will take approximately 45 minutes and will visit each property twice an hour.

“The Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor’s Club is excited to partner with World Dairy Expo and their newly implemented shuttle service,” said Kristine Moore, Concourse marketing specialist. “Step outside of the hotel and into a shuttle that will take you directly to and from all of the fantastic festivities!”

In addition to the shuttle service, Expo will be partnering with Uber to provide free rides to first-time Uber customers. Attendees can download the Uber app and enter the promo code DAIRYEXPO to receive one free ride up to $20.

Attendees will also benefit from expanded ExpoTV coverage. New ExpoTV screens will be located in the New Holland Trade Center, allowing Expogoers to keep up-to-date on the cattle shows while conducting business with companies in the world-renowned trade show. ExpoTV will also be live-streaming on the newly re-designed Expo website, which provides more mobile-friendly access to important tools and information.

Expo attendees will have the opportunity to provide feedback on these enhanced services as well as their overall show experience with the Attendee Survey Kiosks. Visitors can complete the brief survey at any of the five kiosk locations located throughout the grounds for a chance to win a $100 cash prize.

World Dairy Expo will be held Sept. 29 – Oct. 3, 2015 at the Alliant Energy Center, Madison, Wis. with this year’s theme of “Dairy in our DNA.” WDE, recognized as the meeting place for the global dairy industry, attracts more than 70,000 attendees from more than 90 countries each year.
