The contest was fierce, featuring remarkable entries from renowned breeders across Holland. As judges Herre Kuiper and Dennis Nijhof observed, the event soared to extraordinary levels of quality, presenting a stellar showcase of exemplary dairy cattle genetics.

“This is a dream final. The level is fantastic,” commented judges Herre Kuiper and Dennis Nijhof.

In this intensely contested arena, the difference between winners and runners-up boiled down to minute yet discernible details in physical attributes and overall presence, making Trillie 171’s victory all the more significant.

Trillie 171’s journey to the champion’s podium is nothing short of extraordinary. Hailing from the esteemed herd of the Vosman family in Wierden, Trillie recently calved for the fifth time just a month and a half ago, further enhancing her remarkable profile.

During the finals, every detail held immense importance. Trillie faced formidable competition from Barendonk Brasilera 26, among others. Barendonk Brasilera 26, a strong contender from Barendonk Holsteins, truly challenged Trillie. Both cows exhibited exceptional length, width, and deep middles, which left a significant impression on the judges. Brasilera 26’s robust udder attachment and overall balance made the competition tight, highlighting the event’s high caliber. The margin of Trillie’s victory was narrow, underscoring the intense competition level. Judges Herre Kuiper and Dennis Nijhof acknowledged the exceptional quality of the contenders. Trillie’s superior shape and slightly higher and wider stance ultimately secured her the coveted title.

Janna 155 earned Honorable Mention, showcasing her impressive frame and capacity. Representing KI Together from Grashoek, this cow’s considerable size and robust build set her apart. The judges highlighted her harmonious frame and striking udder as key factors in her high placement. Despite tough competition, Janna 155’s standout attributes ensured she remained a top contender.

The young cow category brought its own share of excitement and intense deliberation. The competition was incredibly close, underscoring the remarkable quality and potential of these young animals. Both heifers in the final showdown demonstrated exceptional characteristics, making the jury’s decision particularly challenging.

Batouwe Mirand Alnika P ultimately took the lead, standing out with her impressive feet and legs. Her notably well-developed udder further accentuated her overall elegance, allowing her to edge out her close competitor, Ten Morning Liza 436. Despite this, Liza’s shallow udder and harmonious build, along with her beautiful ribs, made her a formidable contender. Her slightly lesser control over the hind legs was the marginal difference that separated her from the top spot.

Ria 480, who followed closely, showcased her own set of commendable traits, making the final rankings a testament to the high caliber of all participants. The dedication and care invested in raising these heifers were palpable, reflecting the hard work and commitment of their breeders and handlers.
