Select Sires has reached an agreement to purchase GenerVations Inc. and their bull housing and production facility, Sire Lodge Inc. This procurement will expand Select Sires’ genetic offering by adding a world-class product line as well as growing its international semen production and processing facilities.
GenerVations Inc. is a successful A.I. organization that aggressively pursues genomics and has marketed sires with household names like 250HO1002 Genervations EPIC-ET, 250HO1010 Genervations LEXOR, 250HO1049 Genervations LIQUID GOLD, 250HO1127 Stantons MAIN EVENT and many more. Two of their current proven sires, 250HO928 Freurehaven NIAGARA and 250HO954 Fleury Gen LE PLAN are top-25 LPI sires and an indication of exciting daughter-proven results.
“We feel this acquisition provides our member organizations and customers access to a globally qualified, high-ranking sire lineup and gives us more production capacity to meet our growing demand for high-quality semen,” says David Thorbahn, president and CEO of Select Sires Inc.
These elite genetics will be available in the United States from your Select Sires sales representative and in Canada from Select Sires GenerVations, a combination of Select Sires Canada and GenerVations Inc. current sales representatives. Around the world semen can be purchased through Select Sires distributors in Latin America, World Wide Sires and current international GenerVations Inc. distributors.
“We are very excited about the growth opportunities for the GenerVations product lines through Select Sires’ large distribution networks in both North America and internationally,” says Dave Eastman, CEO of GenerVations Inc. “Both organizations share a very similar sire selection philosophy which was a key factor in the decision to move forward.”
