The second installment of the Quest for Sucess Sale, hosted by Bella-Views Holsteins and Ryan-Vu Holsteins was held on March 27, 2015 and averaged an outstanding $8406 on 100 lots. Hosted at the farm of Lynn and Sara Harbaugh in Marion, WI with Chris Hill as auctioneer and Norm Nabholz reading pedigrees. Trans Ova Genetics also donated an IVF cycle with Reverse-sorted semen which sold for $1450. The money raised will go the dairy families in need.
Topping the sale at $37,500 was Lot G1, L-L-M-Dairy Troy Precision, a December 2014 Troy with indexes at +2589 GTPI +1294M +724NM +6.9PL +2.04T. Her dam is a VG-85 VG-MS 2Y Supersire with a +2344 GTPI. Her full sister topped the 2013 Quest for Success Sale. Next dam is a VG-87 DOM Jet Stream with sons in AI and embryos exported. Next 4 dams are all VG or EX with up to 42,000M. She was consigned by L-L-M Dairy, Ringle, WI, and purchased by Select Sires, Inc., Plain City, OH.

The 2nd highest seller was $32,000 was Synergy Tango Petrisse, a July 2014 Tango with a +2534 GTPI +1862M +695NM. Her dam is a VG 87 Mr Regelcreek Shot Alan, with the second dam being an EX91-DOM Planet, followed by nine more generations of EX and VG cows. Petrisse was found a new home with Brad & Wendy Fust of Wausau, WI and was consigned by Synergy Dairy of Pulaski, WI.

Rounding out the top sellers was a fancy Senior 3-year-old for 2015, Lake-Prairie Alison-Red-ET (VG-88) sold for $25,500. She was nominated All-American R&W Senior 2-Year-Old in 2014 and was the Unanimous All-American R&W Fall Yearling in 2013. She is an Advent x Budjon Rubens Annette (2E-94) x VG-87 Encore x Budjon Stardust Anisa-ET (3E-96). She was consigned by Marvin & Joe Schluter, Gifford, IL.
