Cleland Advent Korie-Red-ET – Grand Champion Red & White Junior Show
Cleland Advent Korie-Red-ET, owned by J, Z, J & D Stransky and Ryan Lauber of Owatonna, Minn., was awarded Grand Champion Female of the 2013 International Red & White Junior show at the 2013 World Dairy Expo on Friday. She was the winning entry from the Aged Cow, Six-Year-Old & Over class and the Senior Champion of the Junior Show. Korie is also the recipient of the Udder Comfort $500 Cash Award. Krull Advent Smiley-Red-ET, owned by Carley Krull of Lake Mills, Wis., received the Reserve Grand and Reserve Senior Champion title of the Junior Show along with the Champion Bred & Owned.
Judge Michael Heath of Westminster, Md., and Associate Judge Mike Berry of Albany, Ore., placed a total of 72 junior animals out of 250 Red & White cows.
