The 3rd Edition of the Reflections of Maple Down was held in Middleburg, NY. The Lloyd Family hosted a fitting and showing clinic before the sale for youth from around the state. Michael Heath read pedigrees while David Rama served as the auctioneer. When the final lot was sold the average was $3670 on 111 lots.
The high seller of the day was Lot 1, Maple Downs D Back Addie EX-94 EEVVE 97MS at $22,000. She is due to Hananas in June and is from the Chief Adeen family and was purchased by Dan Olsen of Wisconsin.
The second high seller of the day was the sleek Fall Yearling from the Apple family, Lot 35, Ho-Crawf DB Adromeda-ET at $21,000. She’s a Diamondback from the Apples due in September to sexed Unstopabull. She was the first Fall Calf at the NY State Show in 2021 and placed 7th at WDE 21. She was purchased by Jim Butler
Rounding out the top sellers was lot 5 at $16,000. She’s Maple-Downs Sdkick Aurora-ET, a Sidekick x EX92 Edward then Tillapyke W Brook Aliyah EX90. Peter Vail made this purchase.
