An added lot from Mike Deaver and Jamie Judd, MS Apple Arrie, a own Atwood Senior Two Year Old from the great KHW Regiment Apple-Red topped the Memorial Day Holiday Weekend Sale at Sherona-Hill. Selling for $52,000 she was purchased by Rhonda Hetts-Shore, Rodney Hetts, Matt Lintvedt, and Randy Connery.
The 2nd highest seller of the day was her Alchemy sister, MISS APPLE ARIA-RED who sold for $41,000. Aria had been Nominated All-American R&W Junior 3 Year Old 2016 and is looking good for 2017.
Rounding out the top sellers at $33,000 was BUTLERVIEW ATW ARIEL, the 5th place milking yearling from the 2016 World Dairy Expo. She will be a 2nd calf Senior two year old for 2017.
The sale was co-managed by Sherona-Hill (Mike Deaver) Kueffner Holsteins (Ernie Kueffner & Terri Packard) and The Cattle Exchange (Dave & Merry Rama) with the living legend Norman Nabholz on pedigrees. On 74 Holsteins the sale averaged $6325.
