The Hokkaido Holstein National Show occurred on September 28th and 29th, 2024, in Abira, Hokkaido, Japan. Tsuyoshi Seno of Seno Farm in Iwamizawa was the official Holstein and Jersey events judge. Tomomasa Tamura of the Hokkaido Holstein Agricultural Cooperation was an associate judge for the Holstein show, Junior Cup, and showmanship competitions. These two judges reviewed 390 entries, including 337 Holsteins, 27 Jerseys, and 26 entries for the Junior Cup.
Only animals placed in their county shows were eligible to compete in the Holstein show. Junior champions emerged from seven heifer divisions. So, in the first class, only bulls whose daughters were proven capable of producing good offspring in Japan were permitted to compete.
