Cash dairy prices started Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange with mixed activity and strong demand for butter. 

  • Dry Whey: Decreased by $0.01 to $0.50. Only one trade was made at this price.
  • Blocks: Fell by $0.03 to $1.86, with five trades made ranging from $1.86 to $1.8925.
  • Barrels: Increased by $0.0150 to $1.8650. A total of eight trades were made, spanning $1.85 to $1.8650.
  • Butter: Rose by $0.0225 to $3.1225, with a significant twenty-four sales occurring between $3.12 and $3.1275.
  • Nonfat Dry Milk: Declined by $0.0050 to $1.1750. Three trades took place at $1.1775 and $1.18.
