Blondin Redman Seisme-Red of Milksource Genetics, Kaukauna, Wis., has been crowned the 2012 International Red & White Show Grand and Senior Champion. Seisme was the winning entry from the Aged Cow, Six-Year-Old & Over Cow class and the recipient of the Udder Comfort $1,000 Cash Award. The winner of the Five-Year-Old Cow class, Starmark Ad Hotstuff-Red-ET, was the Reserve Grand and Senior Champion. Hotstuff-Red is owned by Nathan Thomas, Mike Heath & Will Iager of North Lewisburg, Ohio.
In addition to winning Grand Champion of the show, Milksource Genetics was also awarded Premier Exhibitor of the show. Richard Green, who hails from Middletown, Del., was the Premier Breeder and KHW Kite Advent – Red has once again been named Premier Sire.
Judge Justin Burdette, of Mercersburg, Pa., and Associate Judge Steve Shaw, of Williamsburg, Pa. placed a total of 260 animals.
