Dairy Day has long tradition at New York State Fair
Friday,September1st,2017
The 2017 Great New York State Fair celebrated the 41st anniversary of Dairy Day with new events and opportunities for fairgoers to enjoy high-quality dairy products. Today’s Dairy Day included a full day of activities to educate guests about the State’s largest agricultural sector and recognize New York’s leading dairy processors.
The day was marked with the annual day long 4-H judging at the Dairy Cattle Building. The judging included various breeds with young future dairy farmers showing off their best of herd.
The celebrity milkshake contest, with local media teams participating, went off at the back of Chevy Court. Dairy princesses judged the best milkshake made from an eclectic mixture of ingrediants. 95X took first place.
